The MEP Modeler can improve design quality, point out clashes, and detect problem areas well before they become actual problems.

This course lets you quickly learn how to turn your 2D MEP drawings into 3D. What’s more, you’ll learn how the entire team will benefit from improved collaboration and communication and streamlined project delivery across building system design, fabrication, and installation. We will show you how an accurate understanding of MEP systems works within a space speeds the entire design process.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, you will:

Get the program up and running, including setting up the needed systems.
Set up favorites to quickly work on different systems.
Start laying out the systems using the smart routing utility.
Create your 3D isometrics straight from the model.
Use external sources to review, check, and coordinate projects.

Target Audience

This course is for new users who have taken the Getting Started with Archicad courses, or for current Archicad users who are looking to enhance their skills.

You will have access to a related quiz upon completing the relevant content, and you will also have the opportunity to retake them before completing the course. To earn points towards your AIA LUs, achieve a minimum score of 80% on the quiz and complete the satisfaction survey.

Software Requirements

The exercise file in this course has been created using the USA language version of Archicad 25 which means that the work environment and some of the content may be different if you are using a different language version.

Access Time Frame

You can access the course materials for 6 months, counting from the first login to the course. Within this time, you can access the course's assessments, download the exercise files and handouts, or watch the recordings. After this, you will be deactivated from the course and will not be able to access any course materials.

Awards

Completing the course material, including the quiz with a minimum score of 80% achievement and filling out the satisfaction survey, will award you points towards achieving 3 points towards your AIA LUs and a Certificate of Attendance in issues automatically in PDF format.
